So I  read about Marie curie. She discovered two elements. The first one  is polonium.
  This is number 84 on the periodic table. It is used for anti static brushes. It's crystal structure is a cube. It is strong enough to kill someone immediately. It luckily is not easy to find.
      The next one is radium.It is number  88. It is used to make glow in the dark paint. It has a weaird  crystal shape. its atomic weight  is 226. It is SOOOO deadly because it is a radioactive element. here is a saying. "nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood."

So I just watched  romeo and Juliet. Here is the difference of the two. The first one takes place in the 14th century. It killed Paris in it. This one does not show how CRAZY marcutio is. It is alot longer.
   The other one took place is the 1980's. This one tells you how Crazy marcitio is.   Romeo sees  Juliet through a fish tank . They have guns named swords. And Romeo is played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

The reason I chose to blog about this is because I say one today.It's scientific name is epicrates cenchira.They live in southern and central America. They are also called slender boas. They are often in the pet trade. they need  heat and humidity. The reason it is  called a rainbow boa is because if you look at it's scales they look like they have rainbows on them. Here is a link. And here  are  photos.  If you look in the subspecies It will say many different things.  each subspecies  is a different animal. The taxon author is who found out about it.  

Mcbeth

So, Mcbeth is about a man named Mcbeth. So he just finished a battle and is heading home. Him and his friend bumped into these witches. They called mcbeth something mcbeth got called as soon as he dot to his castle. This confused him because he wasn't called that yet. He was also told that he would be the king.  Then later, as soon as he dot home his wife told him to kill the king. HE couldn't so his wife told him a plan that he agreed to. after this he went Deloris.  Then the rest you have to find out for your selves.  Here is a photo.

The first thing is political parties.  There are two  political parties. the first one is the democrats. They are recognized as the donkeys. the reason  that they are the donkeys is that the republicans called them stubborn. The Republicans are known as the elephants. This just happened.  The democrats want to take care of EVERYTHING. Now where's, the Republicans want to cut taxes.
    
This is what life is Rome would be like.  You would probably live in an apartment building. You would watch people kill each other for fun, and sell goods in busy streets. The people who killed each other were called gladiators.  your best friend could die if he was a gladiator.

I read about the supreme court. There are nine justices. They make sure laws follow the Constitution. If you don't think  you got a fair trial, you can ask the supreme court. About 7,000 trails are sent to the supreme court each year, Only 100 are chosen though. They have alot to deal with.
   I am going to talk about gladiators. A gladiator is a worrior who fight in an areana. They lived in rome. sometimes Peasents were sent into the areana and had to fight lions. Could you amagen fighing a lion?  A gladator has to fight it's enemy to the death. And the leaders watched this for fun.

I am talking about the Gila monster and The u.s. congress.
   First up is U.S congress. The Congress is made up of The senate and house of Representatives. The senate has 100 Members. Two from each state. The house of Representatives has 435 members. George Washington and James Madison were the only signers of the constitution who later became presidents. Former astronauts have been part of Congress?
     Now the Gila monster. They are cold blooded but, they only come out of their under ground dens to warm up and to hunt. They are about two feet tall and about one and a half to five pounds. They are venomous and the poison is in their teeth. Their eyesight is bad, so they their food  be smelling for it and tasting it. They swallow their food whole. This is what they look like. They are very deadly.

I just finished a book called Big Bad Ironclad. it was about ironclads. which are armored ships. One interesting thing is that  an ironclads underside is not armored. The south (known as the Confederates)  were the first to make ironclads. If you can't tell the story is about the civil war. A funny thing the book does is makes Gustavus fox a fox. in the next paragraph i a going to talk about The character Will Cushing. Here is a

          the reason why I chose Will Cushing is because  He was an awesome warrior.Will Cushing lived from 1842-1874.  He led many naval operations. He got kicked out of the navy for drawing pictures of  his captain. My favorite thing he did is He made a fake ironclad. This made a south fort surrender. Can you believe it? A whole entire fort surrender without a fight.

The US

Did You  know  That we belong to a republic?  That means that we didn't vote directly to the president. A democercy  means that we would vote directly to the president. The  Athenians  Weer the first people to have a democercy. Then several years later a law in Europe said that a king has to ask his official advisers  to pass a law.  The US I s weird.

So first, My Friday is doing i crazy because I  traded an amethyst I went to the museum of natural curiosity. I  Traded an amethyst  for 20 points. I traded 5 of them for a tiny Crystal.  I am saving up for a map that is 250. 
         

Dog Jobs

I saw a show called dogs with jobs. It was Awesome! As the name states, It was about dogs with jobs. There  was a service dog, a pet detective,  a companion,a police dog , a seeing eye dog, and sheep dog. My Faves are the pet detective,  and the companion.
       The first one I am going to talk about is the Companion.
Her name is honey and she can do the conga. She was raised by a lady serving jail time. a program allowed this lady to help the world by training dogs. Another cool trick honey can do is jump rope.
    The next one is the pet detective. He's a basset hound. He helps you find your lost pet. here's how  he does it. You give him something that your pet likes,  such as a dog toy. He will find your lost pet by its
 scent.

So I am nelson The  president of south Africa. Here is my history. My real name is Rolihlalhla. I has sent to the ruler of south Africa to live.  I was born to 1918 and died in 2013.   I met a guy named Walter. We fought apartheid. We got sent to Robbin island, but we did win. So Ya, that's why I'm the leader of south Africa.

    I am going to talk about animals and their habitats.

The first thing is the coati. These weird but cool mammals live in northern Peru. The couti is oddly related to the raccoon.Couti  young have food fights when they go hunting for bugs and plants.  a cool thing is that they can zero in on food. A male couti live alone at the age of two.Look at this photo  and decide if you would like one as a pet.

      Vampire bats! Can you guess what the next animal is? yep, the vampire bat. These cute little guys are miss understood. Like, if a mother leaves it's child another bat will take care of it. For the first three months of their lives they drink their mothers milk.  They even sleep with other kinds of bats.  But, on the other hand, they are the only kind of blood drinking mammals.   A myth says that the let out a tranquilizing scent But it is most likely that they are tracking their victims breathing.  So what do You think? friend or foe?
 













                                  HEE HEE ! MY next animal is the squirrel monkey.  They are new world monkeys. That means that they have flat noses.  They seem to Pee on their hands to tell others something.  It is a primate. As young they love to  play-fight.  Here is a photo.

So Every one likes chocolate, right? well here is the history.

   The Mayans were the first cocao drinkers. So, what i am saying is that chocolate was drunk first.The later, the Aztecs traveled were  the Mayans lived, and bought some cacao beans. And the Aztecs being them, made up myths, and made temples for a god they believed made the cacao plant. later the Spanish explorer, hernan cortes attacked the Mayans and took cacao to his leader. Making chocolate was expensive and only rich people could aford it. Then later, people thought that they should make a less expensive chocolate. So they made it cheaper. Then, a chocolate maker turned the drink into a bar. So in about the next 65 years, the chocolate bar changed.

So I am going to tell you about weather.
     The first thing is a tornado. A tornado is a combination of air and water. They are formed by thunderstorms that are a combination warm and cold air. There is five types of speeds. one  is weak, a two is strong enough to take off your roof, a three would take the outer walls off, a four would take the whole house down, and a five would just annihilate the place.        The next Thing is an an  earth quakes. They happen closer then 50 miles underground.  the Richter scale is the scale they use to measure earthquakes. You can't accurately Predict an earthquake.  I would like To  show you another photo.

Rise of rome

A long time ago, A king had two children. Their older brother was a cruel man, and killed his father. He was afraid  That his brothers would be a threat so he had the cast into the river. Their cry gets heard by a wolf and she took care of them. A few years later, a Shepherd heard the noise of babies Cooing. He saw them and took the to his wife. Because they had no kids, they loved these to boys. After a while, The boys decided to go find land to make a city. They found seven hills. Romus, one of the brothers Started to make the city. He made himself king, and  decreed that if anyone climbed the wall they would be executed. So his brother, reluos laughed and said you call this a wall? And with that he jumped over the wall. Romus was so mad he killed his brother on the spot. And he called the city Rome after himself.

Robots

So I don't Have Very much of my work set up. This is why. My great-grandma got sick, And eventually died. So I was Out and about.
 Well This blog post is about Robotics. I own an Arduino Uno. I also own the Lego Wedo software. My dad owns A whole bunch of AWESOME Erector sets, Light pegs, an arduino,and a soldering gun.  I made A ROCKING fake thunder storm.I was funny to watch his puzzled face as he heard the sound. So if you would like to make this fake thunderstorm, you need the wedo software, The lights,( optional) The a Motion sensor, (also optional) And the usb port. So Have fun tring to make a  Fake thunderstorm.
